Anyone have experience merging accounts?

I have a main account with 7600SC and an old PS1 account the I recently recovered. From what I read, I'll lose the SC to merge accounts? Anyone have experience doing this?

just use the old planetside account for guaranteed beta and the cash account for when it goes live. problem solved :D

Yeah you won't get the vet status, beta participant status you could still get, but I think you'll manage. Seems really worth it to spend all that sweet cash on implants and stuff!
