PS1 Veteran Title

As a planetside fan im proud to be a planetside 1 vet, and when planetside 2 comes about it would be really nice to have a Veteran Tilte in some form. Maybe a Sub title under my player name or a call of duty style "callsign Title"/Battlefield Tag or somthink to show other players that I was a Planetside 1 Veteran.

What you think? any ideals how to maybe apply this into the game?

I'd prefer just a badge. I certainly wouldn't want to make a bigger target out of myself than I already will be.

Mostly, I'm just happy with beta priority access. An indication of my presence in the previous game amounts to nothing in this game as far as I'm concerned, and I'm not worried about impressing the vets, arguably the only people that will care.

I think you should have a permenant large neon arrow with Veteran in rainbow letters visable through structures and landscapes , just to be sure everyone knows your a vet and super coo .

Don't really need a merit or any title honestly.... I am not one for segregation. I would wear it if it was there but I feel like the newer guys would be put off by it.

I don't want the new guys to feel like they are any less than me or any other vets :)

Either a special "Vet" symbol that shows on the killcam/screen next to your name. Or a special edition Vet camo, item, or faction specific gun skin.

I would think having a Vet emblem next to your name on the killcam would be easy to do.

I wouldn't wear mine. It would immediately nullify any excuse for the all kinds of terrible I'm going to be at K/D ratio and so on. Well, unless there's some cool broad-side-of-a-barn customization that those NC and TR guys just can't pass up wearing. Then I'd be comfortable telling people, "yeah, I played PS1 and some counter-strike/quake (yeah, the original versions) back in the day".

If its a merit or even potentially a custom skin for say light assault you can just disable it probably. I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't mind having a merit of some kind like in PS showing you are one. I don't want big pink letters over my head saying VETERAN though.
