The past few days I've been getting lots of notifications his stream is "live" - except it's set to only users with a password can view. Streaming the tech tests for lucky people somewhere...

I'm sure it's work related. Probably the easiest way to show long-distance footage to other employees on things he needs addressed. No conspiracy here.

naa nothing wrong with it at all Most people like me use twitch to record and store gameplay of stuff.. When you don't want it seen by the public for a while.. you just password protect and remove ya channel from live searches. that's what I mean by so many people do that etc

That has to be the weirdest way of getting footage ever!

You never heard of :
Fraps
Dxtory
MSI Afterburner
EVGA Precision

just as an example.

I watched a bit on my phone today. Didn't ask for a password, but I wasn't on wifi and the stream died after about a minute. :(

lol naa never heard of them (wow seriously kid!)

Good luck filling up hardrives and going through them constantly

Your missing the point when you want to store footage and don't want to have it on your PC When you stream it records your footage so it stores for you forever without using any of your harddrive space.

Plus it's an easy method to store something you don't want seen now... that you & your friends can watch in full later without sitting on your harddrive taking up mass space.

My fraps and afterburner work just fine But i only use them if recording something short for my youtube.. otherwise if it's just mass hrs and hrs and hrs of footage twitch is the place as it's free storage

You likely learned something today child.:rofl::lol:

He probably uses it to show developers issues/ideas when hes or said developer are not in the office. That's what i would use it for.
