I've seen this work in other games where developers (or perhaps in this case, mods) have a sticky at the top of a forum with the latest information about when invites have gone out. Basically any time a wave of invites goes out, they add a (single) post to the thread with some amount of information.
A simple way this could be done for PSU is just add it to the beta information sticky already present. Since PS2 news seems to be throwing through Smed's twitter (something of which I am not particularly fond), it might help reduce confusion to have a single manged thread about it. Just change the beta info title to indicate when it was updated so we know when to check it again for the latest in invite send status.
"Beta Thread [Updated 7/22]" etc
"7/22 - Wave of invites sent out" - link to smed's tweet, or wherever it was observed.
Edit; I see Hamma was already doing this in the Beta status thread - so all it appears needs to change is to put an update indicator in the thread title so we know to click on it.
