With the beta due to [hopefully] come out next week, my partner and I (movie-partner, not life-partner >.>)
are searching for a few players to use in our upcoming Planetside 2 Trailer!

Anyone and everyone is welcome, we're just looking for players to fill some very easy roles, such as:

"Please pull a mosquito and fly with us for some air battles"
"Please grab a MAX unit for this huge MAX-Crash we're about to film"
"Please stick together for this hot-drop, so you look like a badass

Joining is simple; just let me know if you're interested and I'll do the rest. Next week, assuming everyone has beta access, we'll get together for some scenes and kick some ass.

Some of you may remember the thread where I was searching for voice actors, (http://www.planetside-universe.com/showthread.php?t=39299) this is the exact same trailer. We've been planning it since PS2 was first announced, and we can't wait to have you be a big part of it!

This is true, but in the HOPES of having everyone interested being able to play, I'd like to see who is interested!

I'll help out with this kind of content as much as I can as soon as I'm in the beta. I record games myself as well so if you want different camera angles for shots let me know.

I just want it to be known that I'm trusting you guys to not get me into trouble on contributing to it.:p

But don't expect any voice over work from my part. From what it sounds like you're just wanting to make a gameplay trailer from beta footage so I'm down.

I currently work in radio and television doing sports-casting so I imagine I could help in voice casting. I am also experienced in acting (both in real life and machinima) so I could also help in that regard.

I'll gladly audition for you. Just PM me and I'll get connected to you via skype/vent, w/e you need.

I'm definitely up for it if I get in, but I doubt I will so early in the Beta seeing as I'm no PS1-vet.

Even if I get in or not I can still do voice-acting if thats something you need too as some here appear to think.

I've been sending messages to everyone who has volunteered, to figure out a way to communicate. So far, it seems the majority of players have Steam, so I'm gathering everyone's Steam ID to contact them next week!

I know beta has been confirmed to start next month, but the way I've read it is "sometime next month" and not the first week, I was kind of expecting beta to start late august. Has there been any info I have missed that seems to make a lot of people sure that beta starts in a week?

I'd love to help but unfortunately, I will be busy actually testing this game. This is why I am in the technical test whilst the rest of you are just seeing this as an opportunity to play the game early.

Aw, they're so cute when they're naive and judgmental!

By the way, testing things and playing the game are not mutually exclusive. Plus the filming can take a while, it's not like we would spend the entire beta JUST doing this, not even most of it. An hour here, an hour there will not kill the game.

I would love to help! Being in a fan-made trailer would be pretty awesome. Steam name is the same as PSU name. And my eventual PS2 name. I pretty much use it for everything.
