beta help?

i got a copy of pc gamer a few months back with a beta code, i set up my account and my friend did also with his code, he recently recieved an email account with the same code but it says the code is in usefrom planetside asking about his specs, but i havent. i tried using the code again on my account but it says its in use, whats wrong?

Did you already enter your code when you received it with the magazine? Thats why the code no longer works. Does the PS2 account info say "Active" in green letters? If so that means you are registered.

In regards to the email. Some people got it while others did not. Probably something on your end. You can still do the specs by logging in under the sign up for beta tab. This was for the tech test going on now. Not sure if this has anything to do with the actual beta thats coming next week either.
