My friend wants to play PlanetSide 2 but isn't sure if he will be able to run the game I figured I'd ask here for him.

Here are his computers specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6700 2.66GHz
Graphics Card: GeForce 8600 GT
RAM: 4GB

I know the requirements haven't been released yet, but if anyone could take a guess that would be great.

Yeah, I'm hoping he will be able to run it on low with at least a decent frame rate so we can both play. He can't upgrade the card so I guess he'll just have to wait and see what the final requirements are and see for himself.

IIRC smed said 5 year old equipment is struggling on twitter, so I wouldn't hold your breath

We were told a 8800GT wont be nice to play on.

The 8600 GT is about 1/4 as powerful as that card, don't hold your breath indeed.
