Can anyone tell me if I were to buy planetside 1 right now,is it too late for that to get me into the beta?

OP, go ahead. If you enjoy the game, stay. It may or may not enhance your chances of getting into beta early. By all means register for the beta anyway; there is a fair chance you will get in eventually.

@OP go ahead, i think there's still a fair few players warming up for PS2 beta, no idea if you'd get priority access but it'll be good practise for once you do get into PS2 beta.

if you are just looking for priority access than buying ps1 won't help you. Vets are those who received the free month a bit back. Anyone after the free month is not a vet.
