I've been looking a lot at the halo series and the single player is really interesting. But, I'm somewhat put off by multiplayer 3 reasons:
1) The possibility of lack of teamwork
2) 8 v 8 matches
3) It's on a console.

So screw paying all that for an Xbox(damn you microsoft) just to pay a monthly fee to be able to play. Is there a way I could play the Halo games for the single player on a PC?

Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure they stopped porting to PC a long time ago.

The first game was ported to PC, but I do not believe any of the others have been.

The first two were ported to PC, and from then on it was an XBOX Exclusive. If you find anything later than the first two on the InterWebs, I wouldn't trust it, you don't want to get on Bungie's (or Microsoft's) bad side. And besides, how have you never played Halo, even if you are a PC Gamer?

If you're trying to ask about Xbox360 emulators they're all horrible, barely usable and buggy as hell.

I started pc gaming in depth on 2007, I'm quite young.
