With the small preveiws for Esimar (mountains ice) and Amerish (green wet) as well as our extensive veiw of indar which will you play in more. Being from colorado I like dry and cold so I will be in full ice camo on Esimar and the northern parts of indar. :D

If they add snowstorms and other weather-affects, there will be no question about it; Esimar. Being a nordish viking and all I sort of love snow-maps with blizzards and thick snowfalls in games.

They're just so amazing and beautiful when you can't feel the cold.

Im going with Amerish because we already know what it looks like. It will just be more detailed now.
There won't be any reason to change the layout of existing conts.

I expect all prior existing continents to change. They're carving out the land by hand, not letting some RNG figure out rough height maps then flattening out random areas for a base to sit on. Amerish will only be Amerish in name and climate.

And for the record, I'm hoping we'll see either Esamir or Amerish, if a bit unpolished, when closed beta hits. *Foolishly getting my hopes up.* They did say Indar was first because they knew it would be the most difficult to work out after all.

I actually like Indar a lot. Looks like a lot of fun, and the rocky cliffs and other features look a lot better in Forgelight than they would in games from 5+ years ago.

Esamir also sounds like it's going to be pretty cool (pun intended), and again, snowy environments have come a long way in the past few years, so it's probably not going to be as depressing as snow environments used to be.

But I have to say, Amerish is probably going to be my favorite of the three. I loved old Amerish, I love grasslands, I love what little we've seen of new Amersih, and I haven no reason to think that my opinion will be swayed, even though Indar looks great and Esamir will probably be awesome as well.

I am definitely planning on making Amerish my unofficial home continent for the VS on whichever server I play on.

I am really looking forward to seeing more of Amerish, that'll probably be my favorite of the three.

I am a bit dissapointed that Esamir made the first three continents to get in. It seems that every "modern FPS" has one (I know I know, PS1 has a couple too). Basically I just don't like snow maps in FPS games or otherwise. They look far too bland in comparison to other enviornments (even deserts) to me. Plus I don't like cold environments in RL :P

im going to go with indar? (desert) because of the jumps im going to do with quads. my fav map was the jungle/swamp one in the first.

i had really hoped there would be a ruined/abandond city that took up a fair piece of the map like... the inside of a volcano as an example. shove them between two bases in a valley or something. i would even be happy for tight quarters excavation site of foundations that stretches a ways interconneting with a few NS buildings scattered about. if caves ever enter the equations down the line. it would be a good place to have an entrance.

I like deserts and snow. I like extremes. In RL I like to put on my boxers and go stand out in the middle of summer thunderstorms and cheer on Mother Nature while I'm having a beer. I'm weird that way.

Well we haven't seen pretty much anything of the two other continents but I'm still going to go with Esamir because of the advantage - and disadvantage - aerial vehicles would have in the snow. Also because camo might be really effective there and weather effects later on.

Yeah I know manuevers were hard as hell and it was almost like a maze, but it remindes me of the Cascade Mountain Range, Columbia gorge, and Colorodo Mountians. and I did have a fun time fighting there. Vehicles actually had to convoy up allot better and strategicly placed air defence could spell headach for aircav which were suposed be the best vehiles for this map.

Ishundar would be a 2nd i like the rugged deserts. Hossin was a unique map. I think it was classified as temperate but it was the only Swamp biome.
