Not to sound rude or anything, but there is a section for these types of threads.

Jackhammer was nothing compared to Lasher 2.0...

Nope. We've all gone extinct.
Jackhammer was nothing compared to Lasher 2.0...
The problem was surge + jackhammer.

Man. I logged in today for the first time since.... Maybe late 2003? I got spammed with all sorts of 'you are a veteran, good work' achievements. I was feeling nostalgic. Kind of sad to see it so empty.
I got into PS right after it launched publicly. I was in the ... Core combat? beta. The one with the crystals and crazy zip lines. I barely remember any of it.

I knew a guy back then that thought the Mag didn't even have a gunner seat. osp420more got on the leaderboard from Magmowing.

PS1 Vet here.
Loved the non-hackable doors. Simply loved it.

I remember beta was a bit more fun than the live game, don't get me wrong the live game was / is awesome, but beta was something special.
Had some bridge battles during beta I never experienced anymore during live game.
Maybe because it was still fresh during that periode.
Either way, I'm glad I was able to participate :)

PS1 beta ranks as my top gaming memories - I was so young then and it was so mind blowing. My first gal drop in Esamir will forever be in my heart. I still choke up on occasions thinking about those times.
I was also quite emotional during the free month this year, hearing all the music again and being in the Sanctuary just bought the good memories flooding back in, lots of tears!
I am really going to miss the Sanctuary in PS 2... loved that place to just mess round, organize stuff, show off... it was just an awesome place to meet and see everyone logging in and launch battles from.

I will always remember the first time I loaded beta and heard the music. I then couldn't figure out why my gun wasn't firing in the sanctuary lol.

Loved getting the same xp from capping an empty base as a fully populated one.

Anyone remember those vids I made a decade ago? Those bring back some sweet memories.
