View Full Version : I had a Dream...

Tonight I had the best dream I've had in a really really long time. I'm writing to you just after I woke up so that I wont forget much. It was so awesome that I slept to 3 in the afternoon cause I didnt want to wake up.

This had to be shared.

Here it goes: I sat by my computer, and somehow I had already downloaded Planetside 2 ( although in the dream not even Beta had started yet ). And I accidently found this e-mail adress and password which seemed pretty SOE-official. And so I logged in. And I got in.

I connected to a server where I -in what I assume was Amerish- was a Vanu Light Assault (Had it been NC Light Assault it would've been better) and I got right into a battle during night-time, I started shooting ( OH MAN DID IT FEEL NICE, JUST IT FUCKING DID ) and got a kill-streak of 5 or 6- (I think I actually shot Vanu for some reason... I didnt mind obviously) before I died.

Then for some reason I got into an Empire:Total War Navy-Battle FPS... Which was supposed to be PS2... I didnt think it was strange untill I woke up and thought of what I had dreamed.

Then I logged out... I wasn't sure what to do. It felt like a federal crime... And this is where it sort of turned into a hollywood action-movie infiltrating the government and shit- a government Matt Higby was President of.

As a true Auraxian patriot I knew I had only one thing to do... I had to bring this information of a leak in their security to the president himself

So I got to this typical hollywood-scene where the president held a speech or something with a huge audience. I put on my agent-mode and managed to sneak in through security and met... Yes- you got that right- Matt Higby, running down some tight stairs
( You know those fire-escape exits you alwasy see a chase-scene in ).

And I was like:"MATT HIGBY! I HAVE IMPORANT INFORMATION!"
And he was like:"Hm? How did you get past security?"
Me: "I've managed to get into the game, you have a major breach in your security!"
Him: "I don't have time for this, I'm in a hurry for a meeting, get away from me."
(We didnt use those exact words and the conversation was longer- I just remember how it started and how it ended sort of).

Now he ran down the stairs. I sighed(I think), then I went home again... the government nor even the president himself would listen to me.

I can't remember exactly what happend now... but I logged into the game again.. and there was some weird Pocahontas-shit going on as if it had something to do with the story.... and then... then... far away... I could see a proud NC general standing by the shore ( close to a bireme ship... Naval warfare coming back into the picture for some odd reason ).

And so he started talking to me and said that it was no mistake that I had gotten in... I had been chosen.

And so for the last part of the dream, me and President Higby himself played Planetside 2 together. We did some kind of tutorial- although I was obviously already pro with having killed 5 of my team-mates in just a few seconds- it was still fun.

This was so awesome I almost cheered about it when I woke up.

I have no idea how others will find this but I was just so fucking excited that I had to share.

The cause of the dream could probably have been due to watching hours of TB's planetside footage on youtube in the evening (again).

It almost felt like breaking the NDA writing this but when I come to my senses I realize how stupid I am.

Seriously the best thing that has happend to me in weeks, and best dream I've had in months. It almost feels like I've already tested the game now.

I wish I'd had that dream instead of this weird sci-fi one where non-redundant genes get activated by some weird medicine and people would turn into these slenderman like monsters.

I have a doctorate in dream interpretations, this whole dream sequence thing is clearly just a subconscious manifestation of lunacy, I advise checking into your nearest booby hatch at the double ;)

Well I am happy you guys at least got the dream, dreams are always hard to re-tell in words. This one felt so real though.

Dreams are amazing!

I have recently started to "record" my dreams by writing as much as I can about them upon waking up. (pen and pad right next to my bed) Basically to help me remember more and I've heard this helps to make dreams more controllable.

Also for whatever reason I find that if i eat or drink some dairy before going to bed it tends to help aid more illusive dreams. (eat some cheese or drink milk, etc.) Shit is amazing i tell you.

I've had dreams of being involved with crazy weather such as tornadoes and such where I seem to be firing off more sensory organs than normal. Actually feeling strong winds take hold of my body is just a sheer force of nature that I create in my mind without having to actually deal with that insanity in RL.

Can't say I have had a dream relating to PS2 in its entirety but my dreams become more and more real with every nap and/or sleep session. Dreams are fucking fascinating to me

Jealous, I wish I had a PS2 related dreams. The recurring theme in my dreams (generally happens at least 3-4 times a month) are zombies. Though it does make for some interesting dreams.

That sounds like an incredibly interesting dream... Did it end with you being a busy hamburger?

I rarely have memorable dreams, if I dream at all. But when I do have memorable dreams, they're bizarre, but I do write them down. Wish I could remember the rest of the dreams I do have though.

I had a dream about PS2 also, but the game was in 3rd person view, had really slow projectile bullets, and Amerish looked like a city with 10 story buildings everywhere. When I woke up I was like, "Hell yeah. Wait, what?"

I'm getting too excited for beta apparently.
