I was an active member of PS1 when it first came out for only about 6 months. One account for gaming and this one for forum chat. Can't remember any of my log-in information to save my life. Was more of an EQ fan back in the day.

9-10 years ago I would have never thought that I would be sitting here excited about the sequel to PS1.

I've waited this long for the sequel a few more months won't really hurt to much.

Just thought I would give it a try to get in a little early. After watching some in game videos it brings back a lot of fun memories.

Ok, Ive got a Beta Key(Thank you! Thank you!) and tried to redeem it and I have a question.

Is the Activation Code the same as the Beta Key code since I put the same thing in for the activation code and it says that the activation code is not valid for the game selected. Sorry if this needs to be in a different area.

Maybe to submit a key, make it so you need to have an account that is older than 24/48 hours? I think this way people are discouraged to create an account to add fake keys.

I'll be adding another key tomorrow. To anyone that wonders: The key to receiving a key (or like 6 in my case) is an iPhone, the twitter app, push notifications for everything Higby tweets and voila, if you have your phone infront of you at all times like I do then you will be able to get one at the beta key blasts.

The way it works is people have to donate PlanetSide 2 Beta keys, so it's an exchange between players of the same keytype. :)

I was raised on Unreal Tournament 2004 when I switched to Battlefield 2. Later I tried my hand at Call of Duty then sold it for Battlefield Bad Company. I played the Bad Company series until Battlefield 3. I thought I found what I wanted in Battlefield 3 in terms of a true all out war experience but was disappointed with the changes and sacrifices they made to please modern gamers.

Planetside 2 is my hope for experiencing what I found missing in all those other games and I'd be really glad to get a beta key. Karma has a way of paying you back :D

I've been playing planetside even before it came out when there was just a tree a "harasser" and your character with some kind of gun that was never used in the first planetside. My dad helped make the game! Coolest job ever right?! Graphic artist, so the HUD you see in planetside 1 he made, and other stuff that im not quite sure what it was, but anyway he was sadly let go because the game came out and the economy started getting rough. We really want to see how the second planetside is going to do we are so excited for it to come out! If we could get a Key that would be amazing! :)

I was hoping to get one not for myself, as I am a PS1 vet and I already entered a PC Gamer key, but for my brother. He just got back from Afghanistan (US Army) and he's pretty excited about PS2 now that he's back in the States and got some free time. That's probably my fault, as I was regaling him with stories about how fun it is to hotdrop out of a Galaxy into a raging firefight.

Sorry to hear that Panache, it appears that you may have been caught in one of our anti-cheat checks. I'm working on improving this. I just reset one of the checks, it must say you are eligible now?

I have three computers with a variety of hardware to run performance tests on and compatibility. I would focus a lot on finding bugs,game balance, etc I would test everything possible within the game and what can be tested without. I love beta testing...becuase what I find that gets replaced/fixed I feel like I helped make the game better.... I know corny but truthful :groovy:

I've played FPS for years and PS2 is the only game that is going to have that giant scale since Tribes 2 and the original Planetside (Same Developers). Unfortunately back then I never got to play PS1 since 56k modem was all that was around. I miss having to actually coordinate attacks and multi-seated vehicles instead of the 1 seated wonders in BF3 or the tiny maps in all of today's games.

We will notify via Facebook/Twitter when PSU staff are adding a block of keys. However, the community can add some at any time so you just have to keep checking for those.

Yes, key donations go into a queue so that we can see if someone is trying to put in fake keys.

on a different note, i recieved a SMITE close beta key in my email and i wanted to donate it, but it says the key format is incorrect. I dont know if its suppose to have -'s in it or something but it came as one continual line for my key...any way to fix that?

You will once your key is used, which doesn't take too long.
