1. You can not go prone. 2. You can hide behind brush and objects but, if an enemy spots you, rest asured you will be turning into one of thoes nice shiny coffins. I admit it would be more of a challenge and the players that don't use a stealth suit will be using tactics like that.

ya you cant go prone, but can crouch offcourse.
You should be able to be stealthy without a infiltration suit, but will be hard.

I think it will be possible, since being 'stealthy' is really just a way of playing. The stealth suit lets you be stealthy without trying is all.
But for instance, in that fileplanet vid -- the guys that were taking out that hovercraft, the tree there is easily big enough to hide behind as a convoy comes past. The thing is, cover is so sparse in Planetside (at least in the majority of the shots I've seen) that it really gives a nice bonus to the stealth suit -- you wanna be stealthy, you have to pay for it.
However, I agree -- being stealthy is just a method of play. You could approach a base from an angle that you know (from surveying it from afar) no one is looking at, and then creep along the wall, and maybe (if the base is sparsely populated do a little mad crazy interior combat.
Hmm, can you use the Bolt driver in Reenforced armor? (it's actually kind of related).

Reinforced has two rifle slots and two pistol slots, so yes.

id imagine itd be easier to go stealth at night. lower ranking soldiers already have dark based colors and could be easily over looked by an enemy carelessly running by. also durring night if u did have a infiltration suit ud be even more unnoticable when u moved.... that faint shadow would be virtually nonexistant

You can be stealthy without an Infiltration Suit. However, it really depends on the terrain, and most importantly, the distance. You will not be able to be stealthy and move around if you are relatively close to the enemy. People in FPS games are extremely observant to motion of all things, so if they catch a glimpse of you, your cover is blown for all intents and purposes. In reality, that's very similar to modern warfare.
Oh, an what you're armed with will make a big difference in how stealthy you are too. As you can guess, having a big weapon like a striker on your back doesn't exactly help you keep a low profile.

Hah, that's cool -- I am definitely going to have the bolt driver as one of my 2 rifles then.
Damn, man, a Reenforced armor could have some SERIOUS flexibility then. :o Ground scout, sniper, and of course he can always wade right into a heavy firefight . . .

That brings to mind a question I haven't seen answered on the Reinforced suit. Besides the vehicle limitations, are there any other downsides to using the Reinforfced suit?
Do you move slower? Are you footsteps louder? If neither is the case you'll only be seeing Agiles as pilots and all regular infantry will be Reinforces (not that that's necessarily a bad thing, those who must soak up bullets should be better armored.).

I would think that Agiles would have a few minor advantages, like increased Stamina (jumping is easier etc).
But really, if I can tote around a Reaver ;), I would consider myself both heavily armed and heavily armored, so there are some perks to Agile armor.
