Hey Peeps new here :)
Just a question that has probably been asked to hell but would love to get some answers from real PC knowledgeable People lol. I have been watching the Game play for PS2 and it looks Amazing and cant wait to play it. Looking at the graphics there, will my PC be able to run it like that as i haven't the Foggiest lol. My PC is An Alienware Aurora ALX.. Spec's are Windows 7 , Intel i7 3820 4.1GHz , 16GB Ram , AMD Radeon 6870 , 1TB HDD , Direct X11.... That's all i know ATM and don't know what motherboard it has.... So will i be able to run it in high Graphics? Thanks :)

Way do you ask when you know you can't really get a better CPU or GPU (as of date)? 16GB RAM sounds good but with games like PS2 you can never have too mush.

I think we just got trolled... guy comes in telling us he's got an Alienware rig that he obviously bought recently asking if it'll run PS2.

Funny thing is, it may not be able to run it on the eventual max settings. I remember there being an interview where they said max settings (that aren't even available at this point) can bring a modern system to its knees.

Rendering shadows 2 kilometers out? Good luck with that.

Are we talking environment shadows or player object shadows? If it is environment shadows I think it would be not a big problem. With player shadows RAM help allot. If your worried just smack on 128 GB RAM and you should be covered.

Sorry :( and NO you didn't get trolled.. Tho it may be an OK PC doesn't mean i would know if would run a great looking game like PS2, Hence why i asked the question. I was being polite..... Not bragging. I think it was probably a dumb question to ask but it was a sincere question at that.

lol

For $500 less I built a better rig... one year ago.

Yes it can run PS2, but definitely not on max.
