I just received a BETA key via twitter. I was also a PS1 player around 2005.
When I check my SOE account, there are no details of my PS1 sub, debits, used debit cards etc...but I do have the original emails confirming my purchase of PS1 & Aftershock - but no email mentioning my continued subbing (there is a good chance I used my Dad's old email as it would have been his debit card).
Is there anyway to check if my account is eligible for PS2 BETA?
Secondly, if I register my newly gained BETA key, is there a danger this would trump any possible chance of me having priority access due to being a PS1 player? Or would having them both increase my chance increase my priority BETA key goes to my Dad's old email account?
Cheers guys :)

just login to your account and make sure your e-mail is up to date. adding the key to a veteran account would just waste the key.

This would be nice to have an answer to, I got a BETA key from twitter but I'm an old 03 vet... Anyone know the answer to this?

Might want to get that email fixed right away.
Current subscribers and vets are first in. If you got free time at the start of July, you're in their records as a vet.
Beta keys come next and may take 2-4 weeks to get all in. If you apply a beta key to your account, it won't override or enhance your vet status, you'll just have wasted a beta key.

Login with account to www.SOE.com. Go to 'Subscription Info'. Should show Planetside with activation date in details section of game. If you have an activiation date that's older then today I think you are considered a PS1 vet and don't have to use the key.
If you use the key on your PS1 vet account I think you're just wasting a key and your PS1 vet status still applies.

I am an old vet, but with my account being so barren when I check it & having no mention of my original PS sub, I am worried that I may have used my Dad's old email address as it would have been his Debit card I used at the time (I was young).
hmm.. :(

You could contact SOE support to try and obtain the other account (under your dad's email).

account veteran status will not be overridden by a beta key, it will eat the key though and waste it.

I instantly tweeted Xander when he sent the initial tweet to start tweeting, I would assume i was probably around the first 50, but I havnt gotten a key? Yet others who just recently tweeted like 12-15 seconds ago are getting one? WHAT IS THIS?

At this point saying "Waste a key" doesn't mean much. They're giving them out like candy. Higby is supplying others with thousands to pass out just because he can't tweet them all himself. (250DM per day limit) I would suggest that anyone who isn't sure if their account has Vet status or not should use one just to be sure they get in. (Before Open Beta that is)

I'd sent a tweet asking about the SHEER volume of Beta Keys going out. Was told they wanted as many possible people as they could fit in.

From the number of keys going out they better have like 10 servers for Beta lol. (and yes I know not everyone is going to be playing at the same time, but I also know they've given out 10's of thousands of keys)
