Inb4 they find a Vanu Base at the landing spot. But seriously these next few days will hopefully be epic for both Space exploration and gaming alike.

Probably the landing of that new MARS exploring rover thing that has been traveling there for a while. Unless it fails to land which would suck.

Remember, we still have ~600 years until the war starts. First, we gotta find the Vanu statue that gets inside your head. :D

NASA needs a much larger budget than they currently have, they are moving humanity forward more than anything else we're doing.

And the US government needs to put stock in it. Space IS the next frontier and ignoring it is just ascinine.

This makes me proud to be an American but makes me cringe knowing what America has become.

Not to try to make this political, but DAMN Obama, support the space program dude.

I agree, also if you guys havnt heard about this check out my link Nasa is contracting outside sources for space shuttles to carry out various missions.

One sci-fi concept that always sticks out to me is the lack of governments where corps or companies having all the power and maybe not that far off. Honestly thats already the case but they still give us the illusion government:D

whoops forgot the link lol

USA are not trying to give us any illusions anymore. They have stated very clearly that NASA will NOT be at the frontier anymore but that private companies will take over... genious plan btw, perhaps we can finally get a RL avatar scenario.

I think they 1 up'd you on Indar/Auraxis SOE, NASA's continent/planet has some pretty awesome geography.

The curiosity getting to Mount Sharp nearby and estimating how long it will take is similar to going on a long road trip with you family and making stops along the way to see the sights, except with the Curiosity, along its way you have 400 scientist wanting to stop and look at every single minute detail. Close to what he (not sure of his name) said in the press interview, but it made me laugh. :)
