Absolutely not. Sports suck, IMO.
I enjoy the Olympics, but only to watch the best people in the world break records. Nah, I take that back, I mostly watch it to see people screw up because it's like watching a train wreck. USA Men's gymnastics this year was fantastic; nothing like watching a grown man cry because he dedicated the last 10 years of his life to being the best in the world and then blew it when it really mattered.
It's kind of sadistic, but it's true. I find other sports just boring for the most part.

Being a huge sports geek myself, the above is completely true for me.
But, FOOTBALL! It was just made aware to me when a coworker came up to me asking about buyin's to fantasy. Uhhh, shyaaa.
49ers vs the world. I hope Randy Moss proves me wrong.....because I hate Randy.

This is my first time playing fantasy football. Has already been fun building a team. Have already removed 2-4 players based on their camp performance, or lack there of (damn you Dwayne Bowe). Hope Alex Smith has another great year.

I'm super excited, going to be a great year once Roger Goodells reign of tyranny is over with. Can't wait to see that man lose his job.

Yes, I am stoked about the US women's Olympic football team =P and can't wait for the match on Thursday when they face off against Japan for the gold!
As far as "hand-egg" goes I'm not terribly excited, but I do enjoy watching the rabid fans get worked up over the results of games that are completely about money and they have no real stake in whatsoever. Seriously, "We won?" I wasn't aware we were playing!

most sport just aren't entertaining enough for me, they need to liven up the action more,
Things you can incorporate into any sports to make them better
Gratuitous Violence
Ball sports - turn the ball into a random bomb, who knows when it's going to blow!
No holds barred / Improvised weapons
Name calling and psych-outs encouraged
Random loose wild animals - How much more fun would swimming or diving be with a Great White Shark or Killer Whale roaming the pool
Landmines!
Ah but I suppose civilization just isn't ready for this ;)

Stopped watching last year. Junior Seau was actually the final straw for me. Too much brain trauma, and the league has done little more than fuckall about it. Nobody's quality of life can be attached to a price tag.
Its up to the players to go on strike and demand better research, reforms, other things that will significantly lessen the rate of concussion and serious head injury. Or whatever they need to do so they won't be permanently brain-rattled and feel compelled to put a gun to their chest a decade or so after they retire.

I prefer soccer ¬_¬
I'd state why but it would mistakenly make diehard football fans feel a bit insulted I think.

I enjoy American football. No certain team, I just like watching it. I like the back and forth between offense and defense and seeing how they react to certain things. It's pretty much the only sport I take time out to watch. Have tried to watch baseball, basketball, and "normal" football...nothing stuck.

Life is football. Not soccer mind you, but football.
GO PACKERS!!!

CAN'T WAIT!
Packer Stockholder here. And yes I can't wait to see how our Defense is gonna step it up. Ranked 28th in the league last year while still winning 15 games. Looks like we've lost Dez Bishop for the season to a leg injury. But Packer Fans know what injuries can do to a team. Other teams lament and use it as an excuse. The Packers, back in 2010, went all the way to the big game and brought the Lombardi trophy back to where it belongs; Lambeau Field.
13 Championships. Can't argue with success.
Taste to Win!
WE ARE THE PACKERS!

Everybody knows its going to be the Saints in the superbowl in New Orleans this year, come on guys :D. I hope Mr. Goodell has to attend that game, IF he's still commissioner that is...

I'm more excited about our prospect Ryan Tannehill (Oh, and his wife) than I am of this year. We'll be no more than a 6 win team this year likely (Dolphins).
Not to mention my interest has dropped anyway. The NFL has become pussy with all their penalties and trying to "clean the game up". Can't cover WR, can't hit the QB, what else?
I don't like Roger Goodell either. I think he's a crook. Still haven't seen anything regarding NE footage how they cheated. Oh, that's right, it wasn't important so he destroyed it. Mmhmm.

Oh yeah, College ball too.
I played highschool football with these guys. Back then, this was common when it was Defensive Priority. Nowadays, you gotta hope that Colorado's starting QB gets hurt the week before their Oregon matchup so Nick can sub in, and hope that Kiko doesn't get arrested for being a drunk dumbass.
Anyways, Kiko Alonso is getting Bowl MVP again, just this time in the BCS game. ;)

Grifball: Official sport of the Halo Universe. Loved that game.
Anyways go Vikings! Ponder finally gets a real off-season and our defense can't get much worse!
(The only teams sadder then us: Any team who hasn't made it to the super bowl and the Buffalo Bills; who made it four straight times and lost all four)
