Unable to edit group

So when I click on 'Social Groups' then 'Edit Group' for the group I created in the 'Groups You Created' section I get the following message;


"Mutant, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."



So is this a bug, am I missing something? or am I not able to edit the group?

We had some issues with spammers creating Social Groups a couple of days ago and because of that Hamma disabled group creation for the time being. It's possible that this change also affected the editing of existing groups.

I don't want to moan, but I want to highlight this is still not working.

Yea some spam protections need to be put in place.
