Nah, considering only 3 people were given beta invites. Two friends of devs and the son of the SoE president. None of us forum peasants will get a taste of the beta anytime soon.

I do think the same...soe isnt making their game f2p for nothing.I think the % that really has a all access pass,and people with a current sub is kindoff pretty low.i even dont think they can fill 1 server to full to(2000 people since the other 2 continents where still in the making and this beta is focused on 1 continent).
ofcourse they say their so many invites going out but i really think its pretty damn few.

They probably could have saved themselves a lot of headache by just inviting everyone with an active PSU account to the first beta wave. Then there wouldn't be anyone to complain :P

They just playing on real safe now.I do think they already shitting their pants if the open beta starts.it wont be just a ordinary fire.It will be more like a Atomic bomb.

I was planning on upgrading my PC but it looks like I'll have more time to do it seeing as how the PC gamer keys have the same access as twitter keys.
Like I said in the other thread though, I'll be posting here even if I do get into the beta.
There is a lot going on here, so its keeping me interested.

Im reading that there are vets out there having an active account, but that its not flagged for beta atm..
Im confused now...i registered for beta at the moment i first heard of it (months ago) but the ps2 status iss still "inactive".
Why? I played ps1 beta with this account + subbed for it 2-3 years from 2003 to 2005.
Does anyone know how to contact the customer support? The official page iss confusing...:)

Well i got a nice up to date i7 pc.But i have a old dual core system to,I like to know if i can play on it if freinds or so come by so they can join up at my home.i can upgrade it offcourse but i wait till i actually can play the game on it and see how it runs.

This isn't true. At least not for me. I consider remaining active on PSU part of my role during beta so that i can keep an idea of what the community wants.

Well if your old PC is anything like mine, factory build won't do, even if it was Alienware.
I have an i3 570(?), 3GB Ram(factory), Radeon 5870HD 1GB(lame card is lame without physX), and one of the worst aftermarket MOBOs in existence.

mine is slightly better it has 6 gb of ddr3.and a gtx560TI DS SC 1 gb DDR5.
but the rest is same as yours.

5000 isnt alot. especially if u want full servers.because of timezones.

Really? I thought the PCG keys were priority keys, and would be in after current PS1 subs and the PS1 vets?

only 3 people allowed in lol. rest of us wait in hope. my prio key is dieing to get in :( nights again tomorrow for another 5 nights. was hoping to get a try tonight but hay ho. back to APB and Blacklight for now

I think blacklight is pretty boring.is same over and over again with those small 8v8 matches.APB is even worse.
Theirs only 1 game and we have to wait for it.

I definitely agree.
I have BLR, CS:GO, GRO (Ghost Recon Online), APB, and BF3. Still bored.
I also have all of the COD games but I'm not touching those pieces of shit.
I haven't even played PlanetSide 2 and its already better than any FPS I've ever played.

Something to do. APB is fun with big fights. BLR ain't bad. The fvr on the helm is interesting. Well 19 days or 18 lost count now untill my early start to guild wars 2. Being uk I'm not holding my breath for beta evo though I got a prio key.

These forums will always be active. They will remain active because most of us aren't in beta yet. They will remain active when all of us are in because they will lift the NDA at some point, and we will be able to talk about the game freely here. For the PS community these are the official Planetside forums (for 1 and 2) regardless of if SOE says they are or not. :)

Everyone assumes forums for upcoming games will become ghost towns once the game hits or beta opens up, but I really can't see that happening here, even when the majority of people get into beta. Actually, once the majority is in beta and the NDA gets lifted, I expect an explosion here.
