Higby's Closed Beta Live Stream (Aug 7)

Already watched it, but this is pretty good, you got the part that I missed.

The fights in that little mini-base (it's not a tower I don't know what to call it, outpost?), under the stone arch is really interesting.

i love that fight, so much armored vehicles battling it out, i cant wait to see entire lines of tanks literaly reenacting the battle of kursk :>

I can see that being a really important point to hold to take that base.

I did like how you could be revived even after 1 minute of being dead, thats pretty good. Gives medics enough time to revive someone if they can. And in the first 5-10 minutes when that enemy aircraft flew over, that sounded awesome, now imagine 100 of them flying over at once :eek:

And from this video, sniping looks useless/hard, but thats probably because there isn't enough enemies to shoot at and they are moving too much. But lets hope sniping isn't that bad.

And i just saw something amazing at 27:50. Higby and an enemy mutual killed eachother from the looks of it. At least they added something cool. :cool:

Hmmm I have seen better aiming from allot of Snipers...

But I most say it's really hard to see who is your friends and who is your enemy.

Maybe a icon should show up if you aim on a teammate, because that normally means you are going to shoot them. But i like the symbol that shows up when you are aiming on a teammate.

I agree with the guy on YouTube that didn't like the NC music beds. They sound out-of-place.

Game is looking good though. Can't wait to get into the beta.

It looked like they were remodeling the Vanu MAX, which is interesting.

I think the Vanu MAX looks awful. I liked how that Terran MAX that killed Higby looked though- without the shoulderpads and stuff.

Also, many many thanks to OP. This is the first game footage we've seen with a substantial number of people on screen at one time. It's starting to look like Planetside of old. (And speaking of PS1, anybody else notice KungFuHamsterNC on Higby's squad? I remember that guy... I think.)

You're welcome! I personally couldn't believe no one else seemed to be recording these...so I decided to do the community a favor. I know I've missed a few of these, and I live in the same time zone, so I figured it must be really hard for our Euro/Aussie friends.
