how do you get more ammo and fual for a Reaver or the other flying ones too i see afterbumer am guessing thats fual right?
how do you get more ammo and stuff for it? your home base or something and how long can you fly for on full?
i think it be better if they had % as well like 100% fual then 10 min later 40% fual so on

if im not mistaken...the afterburner is for the mosquito. the mosquitos got speed and less power i think... and it probably recharges after a while.......or maybe im just crazy and i have no clue what im talkin about.....yikes...ive already been crazy once before today...and i got cut by a rusty nail while skating!...OH NO!!! I HAVE TETRIS!! i mean TETNIS!!!

The afterburner is also on the Galaxy I think.

Afterburner isn't fuel its an extra burst of speed. Also, vehicles don't have unlimited ammo, when you shoot a gun on a vehicle it is taken from any ammo you put in the trunk.

so how would you get more ammo tho? and aother thing i seen in movies that the tanks and shit fire really fast like 3 shoots within secs is it going to be like that?

Nothings unlimited.
Energy comes from energy silos in your base which is gotten from trucks (soory I cant believe i forgot the name!!!) that go from warpgates to the silos.....its just a small gas truck!:D
As for the ammo...i dunno, maybe an implant?
Please say I was smart (besides for the truck thing), and that I said the truth all you peeps who know this stuff.

When you run outta ammo, you either get out and crab some offa the fresh corpses your should have made with your first batch of ammo, or go to the nearest friendly base and grab some.

Base Silo's just keep the base defenses and services running; they don't relate in anyway to existing vehicles.
Fuel in vehicles is unlimited. Boost works just like T2; you can use afterburner for a short time only, then you have to let it recharge.
Ammo is limited, but I believe it gets reloaded when you land on a landing pad.... but that bits just a guess. It's either special landing pads, normal landing pads or ammo in the trunk.
The latter doesn't make sense to me; you need to park it, run inside, pick up all the ammo you can carry (with only Agile armour, that won't be much) then return to your vehicle and dump off the ammo? Someone would have hacked it or blown it up by then.

can't you use medum armor? to fly?
and for fireing on tanks and stuff how fast do they fire cuz in the movie a tank fired like 3 shots with in 2 secs

My point still satands that the silos are also used for vehicles.

You can't fly across the ocean because the devs dont want you to fly across the ocean. They want you traveling through the warpgates or by HART only. The in-game explanation they made up for this is that the vehicles run on power from the warp gates and when you get too far from the warp gates, you run outta power (and theres even a loophole in that, if vehicles can get power from the warpgate from anywhere on the continent, then why can't the bases get power from the warpgates where they are? instead of having to send out ANTs?).

Let me clear up some things.
All air vehicles have an afterburner.
Air vehicles are powered by warp gates, as long as you stay on the continent you can fly all day
No vehicles that I am aware of have unlimited ammo. Ammo supplies are pulled from the trunk. Where do you get ammo? Well, where do you get equipment ;)

Thx Hamma, I knew about the ammo - wasn't too sure on power.
So, what happens when a lockdown is achieved??? For example:
Im happily flying my NC mosquito when continental lock is achieved by the TR. Bang go the warpgates to TR only, do my mosquito engine(s) suddenly stop functioning???

It would be nice to know that this is another benefit from achieving continental lockdown, making sure the enemy have no functioning vehicles (they cant make new ones anyway, only droppod from orbit)

We know very little about contenental lockdowns. I doubt they will be common place in release either. :eek:

hey I was wonderin on my spare time b/f the bell rings and what if you could open up a galaxy hatch and get a whole bunch of nc's to launch thier phoenix missiles out the rear could they all hit a base in a fly by or would the camera loose the wave lenthgs or missile run out of fuel?

Yeah, if I see continent lockdown, that will be first thing on my list. Secure a tower (Gun Towers have respawn tubes, right?) and call for backup via HARTS. Tell the entire Soveriegnty we have a base of operations.

I'm kinda looking forward to dealing with planetary locks. It would probably be one of the few instances where 2 empires would try to work together for a common goal. Neither would want to see an empire totally control a continent, and it'll be hard to break a lock if the 2 empires are still at each others throats...

As someone else pointed out, loading ammo into a tank's trunk in Agile armor sounds like a real chore, even with 2 or 3 people....would be nice if they just reloaded on a pad or something. I hope tanks aren't nerfed into uselessness like they were in T2.

Hmmm, does make one wonder what happens in a continent lock down. Not only in the case stated above (flying about when it happens), but for trying to take the locked-down continent back.
No air support for attacking it, eh?
Actually, that's something I'm not super clear on. I know that warp gates connect continents, and they act somewhat like zones in EverQuest. But, is it possible to fly from one to the other - say, in a Galaxy - without using warp gates? Do you just hit the "zone edge" or something?

Hey now, I thought before however said it ment that the warpgate energy that the ANT gets to the silos......
As for ammo....I know nothing and dont really care, for once I run out...i'll like refuel with it (is possible) or go Kamakazi!:D

I didn't read anybody's post, but here goes.
Yes, vehicle ammo is limited. You can see the vehicle ammo tab in any screenshot with the Purchace terminal. It is loaded through the trunk ,but other things can be loaded in there to for storage and transport.
Fuel is unlimited as long as you are within range of a warpgate. Afterburners are assumed to recharge automatically.
