I think while I was in TOR's closed Beta their waves were spread out by a couple months at first, and slowly went down to a month apart.

Well if you're implying what I will choose to believe you're implying, that helps me cope with the wait. No sense running beta to comment on balance when the game itself is too unstable for discussion on that to take place. Can't say I have much experience with tech stuff, I'd probably just be mucking around sending duplicate crash logs.

I got in via the Nvidia's er..doorway (I can hear the hisses already) I am an unsubbed vet as well though and was hoping to get in much sooner, normally, than the end of this month. But you must listen to what Trafalgar is saying.

I can definitely sympathise with anyone clawing at the walls desperate to get in but right now the cows are running rampant and spoiling everyone's picnic. I would go as far to say that most people are packing up and going home until the weather improves and those pesky cows are removed from the tourist area because its no fun for anyone right now.

I got the impression that the beta is still just about netcode and performance, and that they won't be seriously balancing the classes and vehicles or working on mechanics of the game until later.

I forget where the quote is, but one of the devs said their largest team is doing nothing but making sure that the game runs fine on most computers.

If you bought it from SOE, it came with 30 days game time.

If you bought it elsewhere :shrug:

You need to have had an active sub at some point I believe to be vet... if you can't play the game, I'd say no, you're not a vet. If you can log in and play, then I'd say you're probably? good.

If you bought it elsewhere you should have had to enter a key, and it likely would have put up a subscription on your order with a cost of $0 if it came with game time.

I bought the Aftershock bundle from Gamefly. What I did was enter my key (from the gamefly reciept) in to SOE's site, which locked the game to my account, then choose a sub. It won't charge you until the first month is up, so I believe it comes with a free month, you just have to be sure to unsub before then.

Looking to get back into the PS universe and this looks like it could be superb.
I wouldn't be surprise if lots of WoW players didn't port back to PS as it's getting a bit stale now.
The question is do I go back to Vanu or maybe try some of the other dark sides as it were. Decisions, decisions.
