View Full Version : Flagged for PS1 instead of PS2?
Is anyone else able to play PS1 for free right now? because I didn't sub for it, yet I'm suddenly able to play. lol. I haven't seen anything about a free period coming back, but I am a vet from June 2003, registered for beta, and still haven't gotten in.
Was I flagged for PS1 access instead of beta by mistake?
Any vets who still haven't gotten into beta might want to check if they're able to connect to PS1 instead.

Free time in PS1 for any person that subbed for PS1 previously.
Youll probably be in the next beta round as a non active PS1 subber.
if you havent been on in a long time....there was 45 free days given out some time ago....thats prolly what you are seeing...there was also 30 days given recently for the planetside day event
@Galron
So they're giving out free time again to any PS1 vets?
@Rat
Yeah, I got the 30 days earlier in the summer, for the PlanetSide event, and I had a subscription a short while before that. Then it ran out and I wasn't able to play anymore, but just recently I can suddenly play again.

Snap.
I can confirm random PS1 playtime.
I was actively subbed when the event happened a few months ago and playing the game. I didnt get the free 30 days when the even happened (as i was subbed I assumed). I couldnt play for the end of july/start of aug (I had no sub). Now I have 30 days. Maybe it got delayed or something and was floating around in SOE land.
Are all of you PS1 vets waiting to get into beta? because I know a lot of players who are vets, but from a much more recent time, that have already gotten in ahead of others.
Maybe it's a bug and we were all flagged for PS1 access instead of beta access
Anyone that's waiting to get in that knows of others who have gotten in ahead of them should check their PS1 access to confirm if it's a mistake

With this week's switch for Vanguard that leaves PS1 as the last sub based game in SOE's stable. "Free to play. Your way." Unless your way is sci-fi shooters, then you gotta wait a little longer.

huh?
So can anyone confirm this? Do PS1 vets get more free time again, like Galron said, or is this a bug?

I know my 2003 account has 45 days added to it... but my 2004 account doesn't..
huh?
He is saying that PS1 is the last SOE game to go free to play. Vanguard was the second to last.

I can confirm this.
So it's a bug then? We were all flagged for PS1 access instead of beta access(?)
We should go to SOE with this issue then... or am I interpreting this incorrectly...?

You didn't get in the beta on the first vet wave unless you were subbed at the time to ps1. Nonsubbed vets get in on the next monday. You probably had the free 45day or then they are just giving away gametime for ps1.

Was it only vets that got the 30/45day free play? I received one of the., but can't find the email to tell me which one or how long it lasts for!

So is it safe to assume we are on the system as vets, as only vets got the free time?
I am getting paranoid about next week now! :(
