So i purchased a subscription to PS1 about a month an a half ago just to jump on and see what it's turned into(i play for a about a year on launch). But, i just deactivated my subscription like last week , will i still be considered a vet for the next beta wave since i had a subscription or does it have to be active and paying for it?

Yes I think that you will be in the 20 of August...

Seriously man is it that difficult to search the answer on the forum?

it was actually super productive today, cause i was stuck out in the CNC shop getting a machine ready, so i worked as fast as i could to get back in the office so i could look up planetside stuff :D

You'll be in the next wave on the 20th. (Add at least a week to be safe :) )

If you had a paid subscription, you should be considered a inactive vet, and should get in on the 20th.....need to have signed up for the beta too.

Open beta will not begin until the twitter/PCGamer/priority keys are let in.

Right now its:

Veterans (or anyone who subscribes to PS1 now) > Priority Keys > Anyone who signed up on the site

It's closed beta and I'm not sure if they are on a schedule or if it's 24/7.

Closed betas are most often on a schedule for the first portion. The developers need to keep an eye on it while the servers are running and changes are made to the code on a daily basis so it just wouldn't be logistically possible to have the servers running 24/7.

It is on schedule... I think.

Not enough people for world persistence at 3am.

Inevitably 1 faction would have a group of guys up at 3am and just go capping everything.

When there's a lot more people, then there will at least be SOME people online at all times to actually defend somewhat (though from what I understand overnight is the most often time for border pushes)

Which also brings to point... Pretty sure their meta game will support alerts to a device if key territories are under attack or outfit alerts are sent. Imagine waking up at 3:30am to defend a bridge
