How about letting some of the 8/20 beta wave eligible's get a head start on the download? Or is SOE going to stress test the DL servers as well?

It kinda defeats the purpose because school starts for a lot of college students when the next wave hits. It'll make the downloads more spread out.

With age ive become less and less interested in gaming. I still play but much more seldom, and only a selected few games that i even care to try.
Maybe somewhat due to the (imo) lesser quality of the majority of games today.

But in all honesty, with my worries and discomfort about the adaption of PS2 to modern shooter standards put aside, I dont think ive been this eager to try out a game since I was waiting for the PS1 beta :)

no info, but 2-3 weeks is a reasonable guess.

I doubt all at once too, though I have no idea how it'll be determined. If I had to guess I'd say first to register key to their account first served.

Could be broken down into 2, 3 maybe even as many as 5 waves depending how many keys they've given out. Again I'd expect 1-3 weeks between waves.

After that non-key registers... again prolly in reg date order... in waves every 2-4 weeks until open beta

When they start bringing in non-key registrants.... seems likely time for a wipe btw... but depending on workflow those may seem totally random :P
