unfortunate for me.. as i am a vet.. who re-activated around thursday and friday (Aug 16th and 17th 2012) and cannot download from the link.. nor have a recieved an email... and i dont seem to be flagged on my account page

Try contacting support. There have been several instances where they needed to do something with station accounts to get some people in PS2.

I will give it a shot, though it's odd that there would be a problem now since I was given the free month for the PlanetSide 1 event weekend at the start of July. Thanks for the suggestion.

yes ... once again ive done it EVERY time it reroutes me to the "WE ARE EXCITED TOO!" message

Vet since 2009... recently subbed 1-2 weeks ago just to get a PS1 fix to scratch my itch a little for PS2.. kind of glad i did.. seeing as as pumped as i was to get into possibly one of the last "True Betas" and bug stomp like i used to in games 3 years back and further... (One of my favorite parts of the game design process.. bugs cause some funny stuff to happen.. and to see it fixed a week or month later is always refreshing)

but im starting to feel.. this "True Beta" is to attempt to keep people from griping about this being a Marketed beta...

Im starting to think this really isnt a marketing beta...or a true beta either...

Using a subscription to an old game, to get people to pay into it in hopes of a beta key (remember they dont guarantee anything... its been said SOO MANY TIMES that it makes me suspicious) .. and they dont... well.. they never said it gaurunteed .. and even if they did.. it would take time to find out where they said it and most wont put that time in

I just dont wanna sit here all day wondering if im in or not... i wish there wasnt so much ambiguity to it..

But thats just it.... this ambiguity of "EVERYONES FLAGGED BY NOW" yet there are vets who cannot get in.. is doing just that.. creating hype...

Its like those people who sit on lines to get into an exclusive club... and you can PAY to get to the front of the line... only to be told quicker that you "Arent on the list"

i dont mind not getting in today or until a week from now....

My ps1 sub isnt going anywhere soon.. even if i was in beta...

I just feel bad for anyone who was NEVER subbed.. and threw down the 15 bucks expecting to get in during the "Vet wave" as was said by the SOE pres. J_Smedley

I looked at that site and the moment it asked for my account details and password, not to mention subscription (bank/card) information - I closed that shi'.

basically i have 2 accounts, first account is my non legit vet account that i got on the 15th to play some ps1 and get vet status for beta today, buuuuut since ps1 has 30 days free play it never billed me for the subscription so im not technically a "paid" vet. so fuck..

then i remembered some info on my old actual 6 year vet account and called soe support and recovered the account signed up for beta 2 hours ago got the confirmation email but it was too late he said when he got into work today at 8 a.m. they had a note up saying the beta accounts where compiled last night and ready to be activated this morning. so i missed the cut off on my 2nd account. so now i gotta wait some more weeks.

but at least 5 days till guild wars 2 eh!

I know there must be thousands of PS fans who purchased the game again online because they don't know what email account they used back in 2003 just to get in the PS2 beta..and SOE is pulling this fast one on us??

How is it a fast one? He didn't get in on his 6 year account because he didn't sign up for Beta until it was too late for him to get in the second wave. If your a real vet, and you signed up at least a few days ago you SHOULD be getting in to day. If not there was a screw up.

Even so .. i sub'd for 14.99 (not the 20 dollars for the game) on the 13th and was charged on the 16th.. i have bank statement proof lol
