Terrain Tactics?

This was kinda covered in another thread......

But do you think that the different terrains will cause certain tactics to be adopted, for those to achieve victory?

Like "Guerrilla" warfare in jungles. More vehical combat on desert and tundra terrains? Snipers on the mountains, and Phoenix rockets coming outta a forest canopy?

Well, I suppoose foot-soldiers will be best in forested areas. Anywhere in the open tho, reavers will be something to watch out for.

Not to be an ass or anything but I've noticed alot of people spelling the word vehicle vehical, just wanted to stop the misspelling before it became rampant:)

And of course different terranins will have adapted strategies. Though the cover appears pretty sparse, I wouldn't expcet much guerilla warfare, as theres not really any place to hide.

I agree. They do a good job of making the forests look really thick -- and, hey, they do look pretty thick, especially with the draw distances we're talking about.

But look at the fileplanet video -- we aren't talking about thick foliage at the infantry level by any means, just enough obstacles to give them a fighting chance if they can get there before the vehicle that's on their ass.

Also, those 4 new screen shots are the bomb.

It depends on the terrain. I think guerilla warfare will appear in some areas.

offcourse every terrain offer different tactics. how often do u se ambushes on a flat grassy giant field?

the volcano continent will probably become the infantry and plane conitinent b/c a vehicle will have a hell of a time getting up a volcano.

And a giant grassy field will just be a civil war battle, everyone lines up and shoots at each other, then 1 team falls back goin to their defence, then its push back to the other teams defence and wat im sayin sounds really dumb.:D
