First thing I'm gonna do is; start off as a Light assault- just try out the jetpack and shoot at walls just to get a feel. Then I will spawn a Reaver and fly around in friendly territory, after that I'll spawn a vanguard and try that out. Once I've learned all the controls I'll join up with my newfound DevilDog brethren and kick some some ass in an organized manner ;)

A few taps of the screen tells you which squadmates are already en route. A friend messages you, urging you to join them because, hell, you're the most qualified Prowler pilot they've got. You rush to the PC, and you fire up the game.
The squad leader's already barking out orders through voice over IP. That's funny, you say, you thought she was on holiday. She tells you she is; she tells you she's issuing orders from her hotel room, tablet in hand. She tells you things won't be quite so funny when the Vanu capture those vital resources and turn them against you. She's squinting at a battle map that fills the tablet's screen, trying to anticipate the enemy's attack, and she has instructions for your deployment.
You do a quick background check on the incoming forces, because you swear those custom decals are familiar. Yeah, that's right, you tangled with this unit back at that research facility, about a week ago. Do you know if you are in? Go to your account page and press "Account info", if it says "ACTIVE" then you are in

If the key works then a mail will be sent to you and you will be flagged as active. What you describe happened to me as well, and I had to continue my hunt for a key.

thats disappointing ive had alot of trouble with the SOE system the last couple weeks first i had it not let me buy a sub to ps1 from the website it wouldnt take my card so i was late on the vet wave and now i lost like three keys which was the closest ive gotten after weeks of trying x.x

Its good that they are flagging before severs open lets us dl the client while we wait. It might be like other games where you download a small launcher that downloads the game. I hope it is as downloading large files from a browser is rather annoying.
