I didn't really hang around here a lot during PlanetSide's heyday, but I have to give it to PSU, they stuck through all the crap.

When other fan sites gave up and shut down PSU survived and kept supporting a game that at times really looked as if the plug was going to get pulled. And I'm not kidding when I say that. The situation became so grave in PlanetSide at times that it seemed the only logical choice was for SOE to shut the game down.

Yet here PSU is, having stuck through all of it. Its no surprise the PS2 development team worked so closely with PSU on marketing the game and releasing information about it.

So as a 10 year PS1 veteran, I gotta give a big ups to PSU, Hamma, and the rest of its team for keeping this site up as a bastion of PlanetSide nostalgia and hope when things got bad.

I'm not one to spoil it or anything, but I think it stayed online because it cost next to nothing when not even Google bots would show up more than once a year.

That's the oddest way to spell 'Jenny' I've ever seen.
