A concern

Haven't logged in for a bit of time... But I just saw the Gamespot "Playing Now" footage of PS2 Beta and frankly I"m really concerned about how well the Vanu are doing. The first hour was just a slaughter with almost no real resistance to the NC.

Now I do realize this is Beta, I also realize it may just be people new to the game. All those are fine. I also noticed the thread that VS weapons are getting a buff. My problem is, not only was the resistance pathetic (frankly) but the territory was absolutely 2 sided. The VS had almost 1/5 of the map, which strikes me as just plain ridiculous.

Disclaimer: I don't mean to come across as raging etc. etc.- if any of you guys out there can point me to a direction otherwise from what I"ve seen I'd be most greatful. Thanks.

Balance still has quite a ways to go. There are going to be issues like this before and most likely after release. People can be concerned and bitch or whatever, but not sure what to say if they believe SOE is not trying hard to make things even.

Trust me, there are several things that are VS specific in beta that need to be looked at. Right now alot of original VSers are testing NC/TR instead.

Had noticed the same thing. Makes it tough to play vs with these low resources.

agree. I also wonder why they choose purple over other colors (green/yellow?). Some might overlook this and think this is just color choice, but personally I reckon it plays a big part of me choosing a faction too. Not to mention some ppl might get confused between Blue and purple regardless the silhouette.
