Only like watching 100 of your favorite movies for the first time again only in game form. I mean that in a good way.

Boring, fps issues at times and very buggy.

It's not the best game out there yet, but it's getting there.

I love it.
It has it's issues but that's what you get when you play beta.

FPS issues, unbalanced and buggy as hell.
Best game I ever played! New capture mechanics = PS1 fights but better looking and with better gun play!

Buggy... but my biggest concern is the Framerate; which I've clearly seen is getting worked on so that probably wont be a problem eventually :)
Superfun game!

Love it. Very fun for a beta and how little is actually implemented in game. Can't wait for more to patched in.

Its great fun but I am looking forward to when they get more of the social stuff in the game.
As it is right now if you are a lonewolf like I am, it is quite hard to get into a organised squad.
You really need to be in a outfit to be part of that properly.
I can imagine in the future you can still squad up with people and be organised without necessearly have to be in a outfit.

Haven't played yet but I can definitely see what Grimster means with outfit play adding that much more to gameplay. Even in PS1 being in a squad/platoon/outfit just made that game for me.

I'm enjoying it. At times there's flashes of brilliance in the kind of unscripted events that can take place or the large scale battles, and at other times you can feel a bit detached from it all, lacking a real aim or purpose.
I should stress that so far I have resisted joining an outfit as I wanted to get more comfortable with the game mechanics (I'm not a PS1 vet) and get a proper feel for the huge map and different classes, etc. However, during the times when I have been slung in with a communicative squad the fun factor has increased considerably so that's definitely the way to go.
I've been enjoying the vehicles. About four or five of us on quad bikes got chased by a tank across a bridge the other day there which was a great adrenaline rush. I found the tanks quite easy and enjoyable to use, and while the aircraft take a good deal of practice to get used to when using the mouse (hopefully Joystick / controller support comes soon), they can also be fun once you get the hang of it.
I'm confident that the PS2 crew have the right idea with the kind of things they are looking to add to improve the gameplay in the coming weeks and months and am sure this is going to be a game I'll be playing for a long time to come.

Loving the game. As mentioned above just FPS issues.

Yeah - PS2 gets significantly better with each patch, and there are often multiple patches each week.
I did have huge FPS issues, but they've gone now. They're ironing out these issues with every patch.

It's glitchy, unoptimized, imbalanced, feature incomplete, and yet some of the most fun I've had in a while. It needs a lot of work, which means the devs and the community need to keep contributing to the development process with all we can offer, but as long as you can get past some of the current problems and technical limitations, it's a very promising and interesting experience.
Just don't go in expecting anything complete or long term satisfying. But like Nathaniak said above me, it's getting significantly better with almost every patch.

A lot better than PS1. But there is still a lot of work to do.
I don't think they have even started to balance test things properly yet since air is dominating everything atm due to anti-air being next to useless :P

Is it fun?
As a lone wolf definatly not it gets boring quick, if theres just 2/3 guys running around then maybe a little fun. Tonight I spent 4 hours with a squad of 12 VS guys on EU1. All worked together as teams and we pretty much slaughtered everything in our path because we was the only ones working as a team.
The only time we got beat was when we took a NC base in the NE next to the NC warp gate and pretty much had the whole NC air force on us :(
This game is so much better when you play with a full manned squad. 1 guy flying the Galaxy, most people equipped with spawn beacons just in case, plenty of Engineers and Heavy Assults.
At one point we made a platoon with 2 other full squads but then the team work fell apart beacause nobody could agree on a base to attack.
Think of this, 1 TR tank nicely driving along, see's a VS galaxy above but thinks nothing of it. 12 VS guys all drop out of the galaxy with anti tank weaponry and 10 seconds later the tank is toast
Oh and a picture of 11 Magriders and 1 Sundrer heading into battle

I have found 1 hillarious thing to do. Remember the "jihad jeep" from battlefield? Well you can now do this in planetside, with the flash and some C4. Except you can drive it up stairs inside buildings :D
