As the title says. I remember this error ages ago with the Launchpad, and nothing seems changed...There is the SoE Logo and a black background, but it never goes forward than that. I tried installing latest Flash and Java, but that wasn't enough seemingly.
Please help, I really want to get into the beta!

Had that happen to me but I just closed the program and restarted it and it worked.

I wish it was that simple...I even uninstalled the game and restarted it again.

I've had that happen before, but it's not been a persistent problem. Have you tried waiting a while (several minutes) to see if it loads? I've had that happen, too.

I've waited half an hour but it still didn't load.

Have you tried screaming at the monitor? Results are mixed, but it always makes me feel better.

Lol. Well, it seems like I might never play Planetside 2 after all. There are so many people with this issue, even in the SoE official forums, and no official answer.

Just for fun, could you please tell me the settings in your launchpad.ini file?

Just as I thought. The address was wrong, but it doesn't seem to make a difference at all. It's just stuck....At this point I've tried everything. I will just leave it and hope to have more luck when it launches, maybe I'll have formatted by then.

just curious...
have you tried to reinstall with admin rights?
i had this issue after my first install.
i reinstalled and ran the installer as admin. after that it worked for me.
also try disabling your antivir or firewalls during install and first launch.
after it patched up, i never had the issue again.

Did everything you listed, and more, but nothing helped. It also happens with Vanguard launcher in the same way.

Man just try this it worked for me. Open 2 launchers at once and one will crash and the other should do the trick ;)
