Considering there's gonna be weather & day/night cycles in this game, which do you think you would prefer to fight in?

Personnally, I think a low-visibility situation, like at night during a sandstorm would be pretty fun. Unable to see 2 feet in front of you, squinting to try and find the enemy, firing at shadows. And then..BOOM! A buggy comes out of nowhere and runs you over. :D Fun.

night and in the rain... id like to have a whole platoon under cover of dark and storm... id follow the storm all the way up to an enemy base and unload a world of hurt on some unsuspecting guardsmen... then we'd continue on with the storm and call in another team to come secure the base the platoon just massicured.... oh the ps daydreaming never stops

I like Deadlocks conditions. Very dark, rain, lighting, thunder...

Snipers set up, :D under the cover of darkness the MAX's would move, and destroy.

ofcourse there is a reverse to this. when im on the defense and guarding like, say maybe, a front line base, i want it to be bright and sunny without a cloud in the sky... or reaver, mosquito, or galaxy for that matter

It would be funny, cool, and not likely to have:
tornados, hurricanes, tropical blizzards, sandstorms in the arctic, floods, volcanoes, rainbows at night.

Anyway...
The coolest possiblesituation for PS would be heavy rain or snow at night with lightning.

hmmm....when its dark, will the ground be still lighted like T2 or will it be just dark? Beta peeps, thats your job!

Oh, and how long are the dark periods?

Amagin like 30 headlights coming towards your base! SWEET!

Oh, and do vehilces kick up dirt? well could the dirt pick up into the sky for a certain amount of time?

And there is a volcanic regoin....tho only like a big ol lake tho, no fountains.:(

Remember, dark isnt very dark. Its just day time with more grey :)

Id assume dark periods are about half and ingame day, and no vechs dont kick up dirt.

Personally id like it to be sunny. Blue and gold look so much better when its brighter out :p

Keep in mind night is more of a twighlight so it doesn't impede your vision that much. This was covered in the AGN interview I believe.

(imagination section: Close your eyes... not yet, idiot! finish reading first!)

now picture this scenario. you are at your base in auxaris testing your new Range magnifier implant, scanning the horizon during the current low visibility rainstorm and lightning shower, when you notice something somehow odd. a small discrepancy with the falling water, then nothing. you go onto alert, and suddenly you see another. yet this time you can glimpse armor. blue and gold. you raise your pulsar and prepare to fire, when you decide to look up and check for inbound aircraft. a large, rain-spewing cloud is above the base, and to your horror, two maxes and about 20 troops fall through the cloud and their kinetic dampening fields activate in a halo of light. you are the only player at the base who hasn't just sat and watched the academy awards on their Picture-In-Picture Computer/TV screen and gone AFK to relieve themselves. face it. with piss-poor visibility, your odds for survival are screwed. or the visibility can work against the attackers and you can melt into the shadows, escape, and wait for your squad to finish taking a whiz to tell them of the impending danger.

so, in a way, weater is a fickle friend, who will work against you if he changes his mind. i was going to say 'fair-weather' friend, but that would be kinda repetitive.

i would prefer nighttime battles. it would look cool with all these bullets and alsers flying around and Anti-armor rockets going off.
