Have a fun afternoon pilots of Auraxis, for tonight flak and g2a missiles will be a threat once more!

Happy, and Sad to hear. :p

I hope this also means they are fixing hit-boxes for aircraft, because flak quite often explodes too far away to do damage to the aircraft.

Woot! I just unlocked the G2A rocket launcher today!

Good timing, in it's current state it sucks  Pretty sure the missile couldn't keep up with a tricycle going downhill.

How do we actually get access to the Burster MAX weapons? I've heard some people talk of "unlocking" them and I've heard others say Burster weapons cost 8,000 Auraxium. I have 14K Auraxium on one character and cannot find a way of getting the Burster arms. All I can get is AV and AI.

I have a Burster on EU1 from right back when Beta started (and the flamethrower as well) but I much prefer playing on EU3 or EU2. I would love to have the Burster on EU3. There are some very cocky VS and NC pilots just asking for it :D

Earlier in beta when my char was created it was default from the start. As I understand it now it is auraxium to unlock.

If it doesn't include a skyguard fix then it's the wrong solution to the problem.

The skyguard will get fixed once they start making new recoil effects for all the ground vehicles. Currently the skyguard has the recoil that the prowlers main turret has simply because it hasn't had one made for it yet.

Same thing applies to why liberator pilots don't get as many points as they should for assists. It uses the Galaxies assist point system for driver assists because it has not had one made for it yet.

8,000 Auraxium is right. Click on the shopping trolley (I think), then tick the MAX weapon box. You can't miss it.

Oh no, pilots will have to learn to attack in squadrons, instead of single file!

Or, to make a pass and get out.

Or, to not start their run at a dead hover outside of what they think is AA range.

Or, . . .

<3 all around for AA!

I must admit I was guilty. On my NC account i was doing straight up Reaver A-10 Warthog CAS runs.. Strafing in bringing the fire and then afterburning out after the cas run. it was awesome. last couple of days tho AA max's have been bringing me down before I even get off my full volley. lol

D'oh  ...I'd always avoided that shopping trolley icon as I'd assumed it led to the cash shop.

I shall get my Bursters tonight and have my well earned revenge :D One or two of the NC pilots on EU1 are so supremely confident that they mow a MAX to death in their Reavers with a single pass. I think that should make their planes blow up as well, but currently it doesn't

Perhaps some nice flak rounds + the collision damage will make them go boom.

Anyone guess what will be overpowered next?

I'm feeling they put in infinite cloak for infiltrator and people just run around causing havoc without an implant to spot them without looking real close. Would be SOE's mo to put something in without the counter.

I felt a great disturbance through the Swarz.... it's as if a million pilots cried out in pain and were suddenly silenced by the sounds of their come upence! :D

Buffing AA is long over due, and putting MAX suits on a timer and requiring resources is also a very good move.

Probably still Aircraft just not as silly as it is now.

Glad to hear it. AA on the bases was useless. Pilots had no fear and it was throwing a stone at a tank.

AA didn't need to be buffed. It needed bug fixing. If after all the bug fixes (Flak hit boxes, g2a missle speed, skygaurd turret stupidness) it is underpowered then buff it. This is a stupid change because there will be no base line.

Those Flapping Reaver though... They are a bit too tough, and their rockets are just plain old too effective on, well, just about everthing. Me and a few pople were talking about this, and that the reaver's pods could be balanced, without sacrificing their hare-hitting ability be decrasing the splash damge, decreasing the general damage done on infantry, and increasing the reaload time. They are also a bit too nimble and tough, so decreasing the rotational speed might be benificial, as well as a neccesary nerf to their health.
Aside from G2A missiles, there's not too much that can hit a fighter with any degree of consistency, and the Galaxy's and Liberators' turrets don't fire quick enough to bring down a strafing fighter. I'm really upset that the Libby dosn't have a legit (rapid-fire) machine gun rear turret instead of a turret (cannon) that's good for neither ground nor air targets.
