an invisible Vanu killed at capture point F on EU Beta 01 around 100+ TR :eek:

Is this a bug/exploit or the first cheater?

Anyone know something about this problem? :confused:

Was it an infltraitor? There are some good vantage points inside the dome. Other than that I have no clue

Isn't this that ghost bug someone mentioned earlier? When your image gets "stuck" somewhere.

A few days ago someone in my outfit mentioned finding an enemy who was frozen in place but everything went straight through him

I came across an invisible VS about three weeks ago. He was heavy assault because he was using a rocket launcher. I sent him a tell sayings he is invisible and he logged off with no reply. Cant remember the char name. You could see his name and the little icon thats all.

I came across that Vanu. Definitely hacking or exploiting. He was shooting from inside the floor and the ceiling. I'm not sure how he died in the end. I tried using frags and he was fine. I think it was a max using some form of explosive rounds that got him in the end.

However I have already seen invisible Teammates happening. Floating name tag, Hit Box was fine (Grief points, yay!) but the actual character model was missing.

Definitely serverside Error, but from what I hear, the Problem YOU GUYS are having might be a different one.

Either that, or the Vanu have finally managed to find that piece of OP technology they were searching for. Rise of the Eggheads.

I reported a bug with the biodome where it's possible to get inside the walls and move around AND shoot out. lol... I admit that after I fell through, I kept shooting this guy who was "hiding"... omg it was really funny to see him look around! I didn't kill him though. :)

I didn't report it! But over hundert people get killed. I am sure someone reported this guy.

... The player could move around the world, buy vehicles and shoot as per normal, but on everyone elses screen his character model was at the WG (or wherever the 'bug' started). We got the squad to fire at the 'invisible' player (using voicecom and co-ordination), but no-one could do damage. We could fire at the character model in the WG and it would serve damage to him wherever he was in the world.

The player in question could serve damage from his 'invisible' character, but could only take damage when other players shot at his static and visible location in the WG.

I think this is what happened in the case you outlined. Somewhere in the world was the players character visible to other players, vulnerable to damage.

What are you doing in a Beta Test if you're not going to report errors just because "Oh..Someone is bound to". EVERYONE should report ANY issue, so SoE can deal with it sooner. If only one person does, it'll be lower on the issue list because they will deal with issues that affect everyone, not one.

This happened to me. An outfit mate of mine was transferring me a Scythe so I could try out the A2A missiles before buying them myself. However, he was completely invisible to me. At one point, I was standing right in front of him, but both him outside of the scythe, and the scythe itself didn't physically exist. I would even walk through his scythe on his screen, but to me it was open air.

It's a serverside error...Not "OMG HACKER BAN HIM!"

Had the same happen to me and he was a terrible shot, but you can't counter something that isn't there. I was at mao, but it was VS that shot me.

Forums are great, but as I've said on the official boards for weeks now, if you see it, click the little support button and fill out the report. Preferably, immediately and as close as physically possible to the geography in question.

"Someone else probably saw it" is all well and good if you're assuming one of those other guys is a better beta tester than you. Fuck that - Be That Guy.

And from what I read, it's better to submit the bug report while standing directly where the issue occurs, as your location gets submitted as well. Last night I found that I could pass through the back wall of the Peris sheild gen room C, from the outside to the inside. Quite a pain the rear when what I wanted to do was hug the back wall, because there was a tank looking to the front door... Anyhow, I went back to the spot, found it was repeatable, and submitted a report.

There seems to be a lot places like this...

i know there is a bug or was a bug when you were infiltrator and change classes sometimes you'd have the previous classes ability like the cloak on HA. i think it's just a beta bug.

Firstly, since SOE sold beta access, i have no obligation anymore. I am just a lazy consumer. I do as much as i want to do.
Secondly, i posted the bug here. if someone is interested (including the devs) he knows whats going on now.

Give the option for vechile operators to send a request for a gunner or bomber or maybe if someone needs help taking a base or someones making a big assault on a base. P.s im not in beta yet and would really like to if anyone could help get me in id love to get this game to the best it can

This only happens when you use the teleporter from point A at Allatum
There is a bug where when outside the teleport room if you walk towards the barrels to the left of the entrance ( the wall with the flowers on it )
You go into the wall but can see into the teleport room and shot the people inside
The TR seem to abuse this the most with DADSCREAM :evil:
seemingly spending the last 4 days in there
I would love to see his K/D ratio

I have reported this twice now over the past week still no fix. :(

Would have been nice if there had been a GM online
I personally think people who are already abusing bugs and glitches should be removed from Beta with a rather large BAN HAMMER

Its a bug, saw it happen several times now.

The dude who balantly exploited it at Allatum should be banned however. Its fairly easy to figure out that something is very very wrong if nobody actually shoots back at you...

I went back and tested it and fortunately even though you can put an Engineering turret down while you are glitched inside the outer wall of the biodomes, the turret can't shoot out through the wall. That would have been an insane exploit, given how easy it to get inside the walls and the unlimited ammo on the turrets.
