What do you feel is the most offensive style of music, and why?

I jokingly say *****-tonk because you can't even say it here.

I think the "pop music" genre is what offends me the most. It is exploitative to the participants, and it churns out too much uninspired production-ready talent that we can't help but laugh at when they eventually fail at something and get caught by media. AND the music is usually really bad, both simplistic or overly-familiar, with lyrics that are slovenly repetition of themes that were terrible to begin with.

Now your turn, what music offends you the most, and why?

Screamo when I listen to it I generally do so to laugh at the artist incompetency. II lack a sympathy for their angst when the scream instead of singing.

now I enjoy it alot
Its not a genre of music that you can ''hop on'' and listen to it straight away,
so I cant blame you...
But still it is music...

Manufactured pop for sure offends me the most. Even for genres I don't like, I can appreciate that they sound good to somebody, but production-line pop, where the songs are formulaicly-written so they can be given to their human mouthpiece-of-the-moment and succeed on mass marketing? Fuck that.

Pop; New "Rap" songs; very loud, screaming rock/metal.
Hate pop, 'nuff said. Enjoy some k-pop (only PSY actually, lol).
Hate Lil Wayne, Kayne West and such. Enjoy a little bit of old school rap, not too much thou.
Hate that loud rock/metal music, that my friend listens to. Makes me wanna take his music player and just throw it against the wall, lol. Enjoy some rock/progressive rock.

Well, the first ones that came into my mind were speedcore and noise, i just don't get the point of those genres, i guess.

I find all R & B to be the most offensive, but you can't make funny videos about something so completely deviant.

Those moments when I have to listen to dub-step music in bus/ street/ trailers (I'M LOOKING AT YOU SOE, YOU DISAPPOINT ME) and it just randomly screams bullshit to get you pissed off. Not only does it sound like edited farts to begin with, but why in the holy poop does it have scream at you. it scares me *sob*
Why can't everyone just listen to old school jazz...
