I was under the assumption that all veteran players were instantly given beta access at some point. Am I missing something? I just did the sign in on the front page. When do people get in?

Do I just go dl the game somewhere?

Buy the alpha squad package. There is a ton of value in the package and you get two beta keys.

If you are a veteran, AKA you have played the original Planetside, you have been in the beta for ages. Log in using your Planetside 1 account and download the beta: http://www.planetside2.com/download

More specifically, if you ever PAID to play Planetside 1 you are in beta. Planetside Reserves players don't count.

No, I payed for it. I played since the game came out. I still can't find the download screen. 8)

Where is the actual installer. It says I'm signed up for beta in that screen.... but no download link. I have never been able to find my way around SOEs website.

Now it links saying wait for an email? why am I not getting beta access?

Think the deal was you have to have had a paid PS account and be signed up for the beta before aug 20....if you just now signed up for the beta it may be too late....you may need to call customer support.

What do you mean. I had a payed account 10 years ago? And I signed up for beta just in case over a year ago IIRC.

theres still a lot of vets who arnt in,i was one of the mugs who paid for the alpha squad.

my advice... dont do it,ignore the shills and wait for it to be released (or you get into beta)

I'm more curious why it says in some placed I'm in it and others I'm not.

Please help me figure this out. Aren't all vets who HAD paying accounts given beta automatically? Am I not already in the beta?!

What do you mean. I had a payed account 10 years ago? And I signed up for beta just in case over a year ago IIRC.

If you signed in that long ago you should be good to go...some people did have issues....I would give customer support a jingle...most of the people that had issues had some pretty positive feedback about the support system.
