View Full Version : I got a beta key! [BETA KEY CONTEST]

I bought Alpha Squad and was already in beta, so I got an extra beta key.

Aaand, I decided to hold a contest. Woo!


Here are the rules:

1. The contest will go from from 9/13/12 1:35AM to 9/15/12 10:00PM [All times are in PST]

2. Contestants will submit original cat pictures.

3. The winner is whoever posts the cutest/funniest cat picture.

4. Any pictures that have been photoshopped, captioned, or altered in any way other than cropping and red-eye fixing are disqualified.

5. The winners will receive their spoils via private message.

6. I will announce the first, second, and third place winners some time from 10:00-11:00 PM.

7. The first place winner will receive an intact Planetside 2 beta key, a haiku written by me (subject picked by winner), and a picture of a cookie.

8. The second place winner will receive a haiku written by me (subject picked by winner) and a picture of a different cookie.

9. The third place winner will receive a picture of an even differenter cookie.

10. I personally ask that people not enter if they already have a beta key. However, I realize that some people will violate this request, and there's not much I can do about it.

I don't plan to enter, but excellent contest. :love: cats.

But, for contestants sake, are you the only judge? Is there a panel of judges? is it community votes? A mix of the above?

That info might help contestants decide what kind of picture or how to frame their picture etc.

Didn't need to tell me, but the contestants should know. Other than that, now I'm curious as to whom the cat picture expert is.

Well, yes actually. You're bribing people into paying you attention. Some people do it with witty, interesting threads that garner debate and opinions.....others do it via threads on cats. I hate cats, so my view point is very skewed & biased though. However at least your donating your beta key, so credit where credits due, +1 to you for helping a fellow PSU member. Through this thread I also donated a key, so have another +1. :)

On the subject of cats however...

Literally last week I was brushing my teeth with the window open whilst a cat was tight rope walking along the top of my fence, I went...BOO suddenly and the cat fell off the fence. I shit you not I almost swallowed my tooth brush. It still makes me giggle now. The cat was fine I think. I'll try and finish it off another way.

Oh deary me.....I'm off to bed.

I deserve one because my pet chihuahua Casper was born with dwarfism,......and all the cats in my street pick on him & I know it would make him feel much better and boost his ego watching me play planetside 2
