New weapon changes are out- I think... what opinions do you guys have about the update?
I'm trying to adjust still and see how everything works but I'm not seeing a change at all in Vanu weaponry yet- so far I've been dying in .5 seconds to NC HA rifles, but it may be just me not playing well, I'm not sure.

The change they made was mainly to the recoil of the weapons. Instead of all weapons recoil when aiming down the scoop go strait up some go a bit up and to the left and other a bit up and to the right now.
This makes it harder to get in a head shot from a long distance when auto fire. Before you could just start to shoot shoot at the chest and let the rifle climp up to the head. Now you will miss the head if you start to aim low.
I think its a good change the left/right recoil is not that hard so if you shoot in bursts you won't notice any change at all.

How has this affected TR weapons compared to NC ones?
I noticed before when I made an NC alt that their weapons had little recoil compared to the crazy amount of kick their TR equivalents had...
Added with their higher damage output, this struck me as rather unfair.
I thought they'd have to trade higher damage for greater recoil, while we TR would have greater volume of fire for faster blooming spread.

Did the Gauss SAW always stop recoiling after a few seconds?
Try it out. After a couple seconds, it stops climbing. You still won't hit anything with it, but at least you can miss less targets at once now.
