Is this game still populated?

I've been playing PS2 beta and I have this weird urge to play PS1. I've been checking out youtube videos and honestly, to me, it seems a bit more fun than PS2. Sure the graphics aren't as good, but the gameplay seems a lot better. Is it still worth it to buy a subscription? Is it still $15 a month? Isn't that a bit steep for such an old game?

No, I hopped in just because I could, but there's was like 3 tr, 1 nc, and 7-8 VS. It was fun farming those poor VS for old times sake though.
