To me they just look hard to pronounce. At least the european servers.

Nothing to do with Planetside, they're all women from Greek Mythology(based on the ones I checked on wikipedia).

I wish they would name the US servers after something we can relate to. Like maybe name them after celebrities. We could have a server named Paris Hilton, one named Snookie, another named Justin Bieber...

All the PS1 continents and bases were named after different mythology gods.
I guess they didn't bring back the old names just yet so people spread between the servers instead of all going to Werner, Markov and Emerald.

Whichever US East server will eventually be so devoid of pro players that they (The Enclave) stop playing after the merge. Well, if history is any indicator :p

BWC(and by extension the ULTRA alliance) are going Themisto and from what I understand a lot of the big veteran outfits are going too.

We are going to Himalia (since the cat is out of the bag).

Originally we intended to go to Themisto when they first announced the servers. The other day we were approached by a few outfit leaders from the VS and one from the NC and were asked to join them on Himalia.

I don't particularly care about outfit politics or people and their feelings about other players not in their outfit or faction. I'm a firm believer in staying in my lane. What I care about is entertainment and combat. Since a number of "big-name" VS and NC outfits are going to Himalia, that is where my outfit is going.
