A good number of West Coast outfits are designating Metis as their primary server. Metis will be the new Markov. Those I know of so far:

I am now hearing that the redditt outfits are going Metis as well.

Have not confirmed any yet. And by confirming, I'm not contacting anyone. TRG and 666th agreed to go to the same West Coast server and I have learned of the others.

Been a blast so far, really hot action. TR has had their share of being double-teamed, but the TR on Metis put up a good fight.

Not true. Even on Markov, there seemed to be a preference between TR and NC to fight each other. This generally leaves the VS to decide where to take it. Saturday morning, VS was highest, with 40%. Things were fairly balanced and NC ended up highest through out the day, with VS staying in the 30-33% range. Let's face it, pops will never balanced until the servers have empire pop limits and then usually only when the server is full. Empire pop limits are coming.

Yep just like good old Markov with 50% NC pop nearly 24/7. yay
They really need to give the underpopped empires some love.

Whenever i log on, TR is at 22% of population, but we still own almost 1/3 of the map and can still have epic defenses and attacks. But the list of outfits explains why we are so low pop at the moment. But from i see we arn't being raped. We are surviving quite well.

And the xp bonus needs to be better. Maybe 20%, but 5 % for being at 22% pop is not enough.

Need more TR on Metis. Sitting at the warp gate with 20% TR, 41% NC and 37%.

The devs are being pretty dense in preventing the taking of bases behind enemy lines. It lets low population factions gain other footholds and takes pressure off the front line as some of the enemies split off to retake lost territory.
