quicktime problem

i got the fileplanet video and was going to watch it but when i tried to it said that it requiered software not available on the quicktime server. I just want to see this movie so ill download another player if i have to. plz help me

What version is your Quicktime Player. Try getting the latest free version at:

http://www.apple.com

If it doesnt work, open the quicktime player and go to:

File>Open movie in new player

and select the file you wish to open

what's the file extension of the movie??

I know that there are some files that quicktime won't open for me, but something like windows media player will (and I'm actually thinking that a planetside video was one I was having problems with).
