How do you feel about n00bs, once your not one that is...

When I thing of n00bs, I think of raising right leg behind me so far it goes above my head (Like I'm doing the splits). Then hop over to the n00b, take careful aim, then activating the rocket booster on my boot that sends my leg into a super sonic speed kick right to their NUTS !!! The point would be so they cannot have baby n00bs one day.

i hate almost all n00bs, i wish that every game had a good training course that was n00b proof, in cases that can be helped anyway. the game that i have had the most trouble with n00bz is natural selection, a half-life mod. that is currently my favorite game and it takes a while to get used to so there are generally tons of n00bs.
but hopefully after it gets a big enough following people will stop flocking to it daily and un-n00b the community

We were all n00bs once. As long as the n00b isn't shooting teammates (hold your damn fire until I'm far away if you can't aim straight) or talking shit like he's not a n00b, then I'm all for having one more person on my team (if nothing else, it provides the enemy with something to distract them from shooting me ;)).

I have no problams with noobs, just as long as they dont get in my way. What i do have problams with are childish fucks that think there all that and call everybody n00bs when in fact their one themself (not implying that to anyone here) In that case, ill beat the shit outta them :D

I can't stand the people who just happen to get on a server when no one good is on and because they are doing well against n00bs they think they are amazing. Just last week I got on a server in SoF2:ctf and there was a guy that was doing fairly well before I got there and was talking shit to everyone (at least from the time I got on he was talking shit, I only assume he had started before I got there). I started off decently, with a 2:1 ratio and this little shit started to call me out like he was the man or something. All I've got to say is that his team scored only one more time the rest of the game and my team came back from being down by 4 or 5 points to win. Cocky people frikkin' piss me off. :D

I don't mind noobs, if they ask something i'm usually glad to help, if i'm really buissy i'll just say i can't help'm or annything. Real noobs are fine in my book, everyone is a noob to something sometime.

but smacktards, now thats a different story... idiots who ask the same things over and over, never learn what to do, make the same mistakes all the time, argues whit everyone esp those whose played a game longer then them... I hate those guys, they usually end up as llamas and TK's... i don't care much for those and generally just ignore them.

Everyones definition of noobs are different... for instance in WC3 you can be 300-100 and if someone better beats you they call you a noob. I try to treat noobs with respect b/c i never liked when I was picked on and rediculed as a noob.

The only thing is, the term 'n00b' is overly used with different meanings.
For example, I was playing Counter-Strike a while back, and I joined a bot server (ten bots versus however many players join the Terrorist team), and a 'rebel' if you will, joined the bot team. Of course, we learned where he camped, and killed him plenty of times. Anyway, one round, I killed him before he was able to get to his regular camping place... And he lashed out and called us all 'n00bs' even though his score was something like... Seven and fifteen, and my score was approximately thirty and three, (kills/deaths for those who didn't know).
If a person is a 'n00b to a game, I try to help them as much as possible. If a person is a 'n00b' too something that requires knowledge of that specific thing (ie. a website) I don't help them unless they ask. If they say "Oooh, I'm a n00b.. Treat me with respect!' then I don't really care, but if they say "Um... I need help, I'm kind of a n00b to this." Then I try to help them.
I hate it when people are 'n00bs' and try to act cool.
