Despite the fact that Planetside was a revolutionary game, with an open-ended world and character development, what really made the game for me were outfits and team-play.

Ps2 seems to have missed the mark in this area, so far. Nothing new for outfits, and a squad-listing system that's mediocre. I still haven't found a way to see who's leading a squad, or who's in it, before I join.

I don't really know exactly what to suggest, except to make it more like Planetside's system. Outfit headquarters with a garage for stolen enemy vehicles and tech would have been awesome, but I guess it's a little late for that.

Lots of it is still basic/placeholder. The outfit system is not top priority at the moment.

They will probably work on it at a later stage.

I have actually read some cool posts back in the day where a couple of devs stated they will have some cool stuff for outfits, possibly even base control. They also said that stuff is coming after launch. Makes sense. As diLLa said the top priority atm for the devs is to get PS2 in a stable and fun enough condition for launch. :)

There's a lot of stuff in development for outfits, and it has been especially difficult for organization due to character wipes and server changes. Give it time, hopefully things will be better for outfits soon.

Outfits don't need a lot for lauch inho ...
but the squad and platoon interface and tools do.

e.g.

limiting your listed squad to outfit only
squad and platoon display on the UI - only seeing your squad in a platoon is kak I think.

As has been said, i'm sure that the Outfit still will come in later.

They probably have it all functional and working on internal servers already, they're just trying to do bigger things right now.

Like, not making the Lasher suck, for example. :D
