SOE Live Keynote question, what's the bearded lady about?

I was watching the SOE Live keynote video, could someone explain to me what the bearded lady in the purple fish bling armor was about? He-she opened the presentation so I'm figuring it's something important. Is it something from Everquest?

It's 'she'. Linda Brasse Carlson. She was originally well-known by EQ2 community, and then SOE hired her.

And she introduced ex-military soldiers/officers there(as well as current soldiers) who love gaming as a whole. In addition to that, she was the MC of the keynote.

She spends quite a long time building that elaborate costume. She is dressed like a dwarf, she wants to do a dwarf MAX next year to meld the two. :p

If she wants to blend Everquest and Planetside she should come as a Black Ops Soldier... beard optional.

Hope you or someone got videos of the Planetside Panels Hamma, there's been much less info and communication lately from the Developers, hoping it's because it all happened at SOE Live.
