you know what I never get is why ordinary people who feel the need to march and protest (that I understand) get stupid and come up with great ideas about burning down historical sites or burning down the government offices or causing hundred of thousands to millions of dollars/euro/ect of damage to places when they are out in the streets about the lack of money in the first place.

I know lets rant and riot about the lack of public money by forcing them to use/spend even more of it cleaning up after us, that will make them pay.......

Agreed. Rioting and protesting are hobbies for some people. I think human beings generally crave the sense of unity and defiance that it involves, and will latch on to any ideology that gives them a purpose to fuel this pleasure from. Add in taking things to the extreme, completely out of proportion, shut down any active listening to reason or differing points of views, and you have a trendy hipster with a picket and a bag of rocks outside a government building somewhere.
