If you go to either site right now, it just has the domain's "under construction" page.

I don't understand why everyone hates that site.
What's the big deal? It's just propaganda like CNN.

Well, CNN isnt breaking the Geneva Convention by airing photos and videos of POWs.
It's the fuckin internet. I want to see that shit. I always study the picture carefully to see if I know them.
When you live in America this war seems unreal. We need a reality check from time to time to show how much these soldiers are sacrificing.

I agree, it's been over 100 years since a battle was fought on American soil and most people aren't exposed to the atrocities and death that takes place during war. I think it's important that we aren't "sheltered" from this, because I think most people think of this war as just another reality TV show. They are more interested in the news coverage than the fact that our servicemen and women along with Iraqi civilians are dying over there.

The glory that will soon be the war between web sites. I hope there isnt some weapon that would cause a policy of MAD (for all u 6th graders out there thats Mutaly Assured Destruction). Imagine web sights that declare war on each other andfight their battles in the confines of Auraxis!!! That would acctualy be so cool! No more real war. We get paid to fight for a web sight!

Where did it ever say that the network was pro-iraqi, i just hate the fact that everyone assumes it's evil and thinks it's OK, just becuase they are Islamic. I don't think anyone even noticed that they said it was Qatar based, a neutral country that is developping wonderfully. It's even cleaner than Japan. Weather any of you guys chooses to accept this fact, but hacking the site for that reason is racial prejudice.

Derfud are u like smoking crack (my new favorite line) Look they showed images of our troops being treated inhumanely. It is racial to do something like that but oh well, besides im not racist I hate everyone equaly!

its an Al Jazeera site, which makes it evil all in all. Yea we dont know how bad war is, since Pearl Harbor, but hell we saw death and destruction 2 and a half years ago, with 9/11. Its awsome that those ppl hacked that site, since american hackers probably werent the only ones thinking about it since they did not follow the Geneva Convention, which is followed WORLD WIDE.

Al jazeera is media, they don't have control over what the republican gaurd does. Hacking a site for a media station is illogical, and profiling like Derfud stated.

I always study the picture carefully to see if I know them. Actually, one of the POWs graduated high school in my town. (Not one of the dead, one of the ones they were interviewing.) I'm not sure if his home is still here even though he's stationed elsewhere or what though.

Al Jizzguzzra is state owned state run. They aren't like CNN.

Could still be his home of residence.
