Planetside 2 launcher says installing, shouldn't it be downloading?

I finally got the download link to work, got the launcher installed but it says installing 6837mb, shouldn't it be downloading? Seems to be going pretty fast as well >.>

Nope, installing is correct. If it says installing it is doing it right.

I think it says installing because they install the software as it gets downloaded. :)

At least yours is installing. I'm stuck at the login screen saying "There was an error completing your request. Please try again." :confused:

At least you get something. When I try to run the launcher it runs in the background for a bit, then just crashes. The beta worked fine :/
